Every morning WENG announces events and meetings at no cost to nonprofit groups and organizations.  If you would like your next meeting or event mentioned on the air please provide the information by sending it to the WENG FAX number 475-2205, or e-mail to kenb@1530weng.com or drop it off at the WENG studios at 1355 South River Road in Englewood between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Information will NOT be taken over the telephone.

Each month will have a winning Pet of the Month. A $25.00 entry fee per photo includes a free calendar. All acceptable entries will be included in the calendar. Posted 02/21/2008 SATURDAY - March 8, 2008 - The 13th Annual - Spring Model Contest & Show, sponsored by IPMS/Wings, Wheels & Keels Model Club will be held at Woodmere Park Auditorium, Venice on Saturday, March 8th. Beginners and "old pro" modelers are invited to participate in a friendly, non-intimidating & uncomplicated show. Doors open at 9:30AM.
