Archaeological Society Meeting

6:30 pm at the North Port Library Archaeologist Chuck Blanchard who will discuss the history of Charlotte Harbor as presented in the new book "Boca Grande: Lives of an Island". This is a book of edited oral histories, historical essays, historical vignettes and historic photos. He will also touch on the current activity in archaeology in Charlotte Harbor including Big Mound Key and the CZM Public Lands mapping and profiling program.
